Westminster Chapel Wedding in Mendon NY

Their story started in the most romantic of places, econ class ;P. She secretly admired this Superman look-a-like and he thought that she was out of his league. Little did Eric know, he would be proposing to Emily with a beautiful family heirloom, his great great aunt’s engagement ring. However, it wasn’t till after they finished school that they started dating and it was long distance. After 2 years of long distance, Eric planned a beautiful proposal on Lake Wesauking, which happens to be Emily’s favorite place.

While Emily and Eric live in Pennsylvania, they decided to celebrate their wedding where Emily had grown up — Fairport, NY. Their ceremony took place at St John of Rochester Church where Emily’s family attends. Emily looked marvelous in her beautiful long white wedding dress. As she walked down the aisle, everyone admired her beauty. The ceremony was very emotional, with parents shedding tears every now and then and with grandma giving the thumbs up. The newly weds’ family was very involved, not only doing readings but also playing in the church orchestra.

For their reception location, Emily and Eric chose the Westminster Chapel in Mendon, NY. It’s a beautiful venue that has space both for the ceremony and the reception. The venue always does an amazing job decorating the room and assisting their brides and grooms and their guests. The room looked spectacular with all the beautiful center pieces and decorations. And we just adore the strings of lights that stretch across the room. Emily and Eric’s reception was outstanding; started out with crazy fun introductions and continued with hilarious speeches to end with hilarious games and beautiful first dances. Every moment of the reception had a spark to it.

The whole day was filled with very beautiful moments and opportunities for great shots. The Westminster Chapel in particular is located near a scenic park that always makes for beautiful photos in a natural scenery. But must of all, we had the most enjoyable time working with Emily and Eric who are both truly fantastic. They’ve been amazing to work with and fun to be around. Emily and Eric, thank you for making us apart of your beautiful day. We wish you all the best in this new chapter of your life.
