Not so long ago I had the pleasure to work for another wedding photographer, the sweet, the funny, and the super-skilled Wendy Zook. I met Wendy shortly after having moved TKL to Rochester and I immediately loved her for her. She filled her surroundings with positive attitude and always made everyone feel special. Wendy was, at the time, based in Rochester where she was very active in the wedding-scene. She even ran one of the most popular wedding vendors groups. Anyways, when Wendy reached out to me asking if I could shoot alongside her, I immediately said “yes!”
Wendy’s clients celebrated their wedding at Timberlodge Arrowhead Golf Club. The venue was rustic, with wooden columns supporting the roof and many wooden detail that gave it its character. The surroundings were just as nice: lots of nature, small lake, and lots of space for the newly weds and their guests to have fun! And I can’t forget to mention the overarching night lights — which I totally loved — were spread across the patio outside and also made for some beautiful pictures.
The wedding’s atmosphere was very emotional. The bride and groom both showed their excitement through tears, laughs, and all sorts of dance floor shenanigans. But the same goes for their guests: they all shared the newlyweds’ happiness and celebrated like no other.
