Pride, joy, family: these are the three words we would use to describe Jaleesa and Byron’s wedding day.
So that moment when the tune changes, breaths pause, and a spark appears in the groom’s eye; when everyone turns around, and everyone experiences their moment of awe. It’s the moment when the beautiful bride and her proud father enter the room, slowly proceeding towards the altar as guests admire their stunning appearance. It’s the longest moment in the bride’s, the groom’s, and their parents’ lives; an instant of great significance that marks new directions and values but also one that elicits the happiest memories. As Jaleesa, the bride, and her father were walking down the aisle, all the feelings surfaced on their faces. The dad fought feelings of departure bravely as he gave his daughter away and shook Byron’s hand. Byron looked awestruck seeing his soon to be wife. That was the kickoff of a great wedding day filled with many smiles, tears, and great speeches.
Many of Jaleesa’s and Byron’s guests traveled a long way to share the joy of the young couple. Everyone cheered as the two walked down after being joined by the sacred ceremony. Jaleesa and Byron didn’t hide the excitement and went through the rest of the day with big smiles on their faces. They chose a beautiful location for their portrait pictures: a picturesque park, Lake Katherine, located in the southern suburbs of Chicago. Its trees, lake, and creek provided for beautiful backdrops. Byron and Jaleesa were both very relaxed and looked gorgeous even despite battling limited time at the park. Despite it being a very warm day, the groomsmen and the bridesmaids were all very energetic and full of excitement. They kept everyone entertained. The reception took place at the Hilton in Oak Lawn. In the middle of the beautifully decorated room were the main tables sitting the bridal party. As the day unfolded, the best man, maid of honor, and the fathers gave heartwarming speeches. These brought laughs as well as tears. The fathers expressed their pride in their children and shared stories that captivated everyone. Everyone cheered as Purdue, a special place in Jaleesa’s and Byron’s hearts, was brought up.
We enjoyed being able to work with Byron and Jaleesa. Despite it being their special day, they made sure that we were well accommodated and had everything we needed. J+B, we’re excited for you and for the new path your building ahead of you. All the best wishes and thank you for for working with us on your special day. -Taz and Kamil
