Tony and Karen were bound to meet. Having shared mutual friends who had previously suggested a blind date, Tony and Karen re-discovered each other via Facebook and brought up the idea of a blind date with their friends again.The date involved a dinner and a bowling alley and, as the little birdie told us, Tony was 100% invested in making that beautiful lady his own.

Tony and Karen are both nature enthusiasts, fun, and a really amazing couple. They share passion for education and are super creative… Tony had the most romantic idea for a proposal which he executed with the help of Karen’s family. While everyone was on-board with the plan, Karen had no idea of what was happening. Tony took Karen for a walk in Lincoln Park. While walking around and enjoying the nature, especially those cute grasshoppers, Tony suggested that they sit down and view a package that just recently arrived. The box, which seemed unopened, contained a little photo book. Karen, excited, admired the little gift, going through the pages to finally, to her surprise, find a void cut out from the pages where a little shiny ring was placed. At that moment, Tony got down on his knee and proposed. As you may have guessed, Karen said “yes.”

Tony and Karen have organized a truly beautiful day. Their ceremony took place outside, next to a beautiful pond. They were surrounded by cheerful friends and family. One of their friends officiated the wedding. The ceremony was quick, full of smiles and laughs. Many tears were shed as the newly weds said their vows. While exchanging the vows, Tony and Karen promised each other to “love you more”, which was also engraved on his wedding band. The reception took place in a beautifully decorated space: the space had a nice rustic feel to it; all the tables had center pieces which were hand made by Karen. They were cute little bird houses, as one would expect from a nature lover. On tables were also guest gifts, heart shaped bird feeders. We definitely loved the globe Tony put together, so that guests can sign their names and write best wishes for the newly weds.
