When it comes to meeting your future wife or husband, there are many possible ways, places, and occasions. Sometimes it’s a matter of good timing, sometimes a matter of innocent look. Yet sometimes it’s a matter of a good common friend. And that’s how Kevin and Ashley met. Their story is really sweet: they only met for a weekend through their dear friend yet it was enough time for a spark to ignite the romantic feelings between them. They’ve kept in touch and kept their relationship growing. After one year of knowing each other, they decided to celebrate their anniversary in the same place where they had originally met: scenic lake on the eastern part of New York state. It was during that anniversary getaway that Kevin opened a little black box and asked Ashley to be his wife.
Among all the wedding planning, the romance between the two continued. Taking even more advantage of the beautiful nature in Upstate New York, Ashley and Kevin decided to have their wedding at a vineyard nearby Buffalo. It was a place that Kevin had known since his childhood when he went there on trips with his school. They’d put a lot of work into their wedding planning process and the results were stunning.
The wedding took place in a beautiful banquet hall in the middle of the vineyard: the room had high wooden ceilings with couple large windows in the roof, and the sides of the room were open letting a lot of natural light in. The ceremony, which was planned to take place outside, was held inside due to the rain but it was beautiful. As Ashley entered the room in her majestic wedding dress, the room filled with admiration. The guests watched Ashley approach the groom as he stood inspired in front of them. With the bride and the groom now both present and filled with happiness, the ceremony was ready to begin.
Throughout the ceremony, Kevin and Ashley exchanged loving looks. Seeing them interact, exchange the vows, and put rings on each other’s hands was one of the sweetest things one could see. The spirit of Ashley and Kevin’s love filled the room and filled everybody’s faces with smiles and tears of joy. The beautiful ceremony was culminated with pouring of sand and an inspiring first kiss. After the ceremony the party begun. The guests enjoyed a few speeches which let everyone in on a few funny stories about Ashley and Kevin; they enjoyed watching the first dances between the bride, groom, and their parents; and, finally, they all laughed at the little surprise that Ashley had prepared with her family: as she danced with her dad, the music suddenly changed, tempo increased, and the wildest choreographed dance took place. Ashley and her dad were joined by a few more people, couple of whom were wearing ridiculously funny masks of a horse and a unicorn. That amazing performance got everyone energized and that’s how a long night of dancing and fun had begun.
Ashley and Kevin, congratulations! Thank you for choosing us to document your day!
