Each having graduated from high school and eager to further pursue education and to develop further, they knew that it was time to move to the big city. Their ambitions and courage led them both to Warsaw where, after years of studying and working, their paths have finally crossed. Karolina was looking for a room for rent and came across Darek&#8217;s and his friends&#8217; ad. Once they met, they knew that they would all be perfect roommates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Their story continued intertwined with many cute moments which slowly but\u00a0unrelentingly sculptured their feelings towards each other. It did not take long for Darek to express his feelings towards Karolina. He didn&#8217;t want to see yet another guy\u00a0make his move for Karolina\u00a0so he approached her himself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Their special day happened in September 2014. They followed Polish traditions and had absolutely the most beautiful wedding day, filled with various guest ice breakers and other games, rich in food and moonshine. There is a band assisting the groom who arrives at the bride&#8217;s house in order to to &#8220;buy&#8221; the her\u00a0from her father. Once his price is &#8220;accepted,&#8221; the parents of bride and groom proceed to offering their children a blessing for their new path. The blessing is followed by a traditional ceremony. However, it&#8217;s not unusual that bride and groom are stopped on their way to the ceremony by neighbors who set up blockades and won&#8217;t allow the wedding party to pass through until a satisfactory payment is made. They&#8217;d practiced for weeks prior to the wedding and it was worth it. It was an astonishing performance. Yet, it wasn&#8217;t the only surprise that they had for their guests. Darek and Karolina wanted to have theirs done in Suwalki, Darek&#8217;s hometown.\u00a0We visited local parks and older neighborhoods where nature and beautiful architecture made\u00a0for beautiful images.
