Wedding ceremony at Alice Millar Chapel

20 years have passed since two beautiful ladies received a symbolical wedding to commemorate their love. After those 20 years, they have officially married in the state of Illinois and we had the opportunity to capture that wonderful moment in their life! The ceremony took place in Alice Millar Chapel in Evanston.

Having been with each other, these two ladies’ wedding wasn’t a regular wedding where two people promise each other love till death apart. It was also a celebration of the years that had passed while they shared their lives with each other. The whole day, both of them were happy and had beautiful smiles. We felt energy radiating from them and their guests the entire day.  Each bouquet had a beautiful pictures of the brides parents to remember them on this day.

It’s worth mentioning the rings and wedding bands that they have. As you can see in the images below, rings looked fantastic! The wedding bands were made out of a United States Silver Half Dollar. Inscribed on the rings “Liberty” and “In God We Trust” and “United States Of America” with the mint date of 1994.

And to quote few wise words said on this special day: “The  State of Illinois is legally honoring what Thomas Jefferson said : We hold these truths to be sacred & undeniable; that all men are created equal and independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent and inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness…”
